Attachments

We know how much creating new activities, tasks and cases instantly from WhatsApp is important to you, and a repeated request we’ve heard was to include attachments. So from now on, when creating any of these chat records- an “Add Attachments” button will appear right above the submit button. You can select as many files you want (limit of 10Mb) and they will be uploaded to the new record you create.

Chat Records Tagging

When creating new activity, tasks or cases you can provide a custom subject line that describes the purpose and the context of the interaction. Until today, it was challenging to identify that these interactions were submitted during WhatsApp chats. Starting this version, all these records’ subject lines are tagged with [Whatslly] at the beginning of any other text you insert. You can use this new tag to make it easier to track and analyze your relationship with customers.

Add to Mobile Contacts

With Whatslly, you can communicate with your customers and see known information, even without adding them as contacts in your mobile. But since responsiveness is an important key in customer experience, you want to be able to identify customers even when using your mobile. In this version we’ve added an option to add people as mobile contacts in a click of a button. Right above the “Show Activities & Tasks” button you will see an option to Add to Mobile Contact. Clicking it will start a download of a VCF file (vCard) that will automatically add this person to your iOS or Android contacts list. This only available when chatting with people that are not yet contacts.

Your extension should be upgraded automatically, but if you see in the Whatslly panel a note that asks you to upgrade you can follow these instructions to do it.
